Our little one was born at 37 weeks. This is what is called the grey area.. You can either stop your labor or go through with it.. Well there was no stopping my labor. Only 10% of babies born this early are premature and our little boy was part of that percentile. When Liam was born, his lungs were not fully developed and he needed some extra help to breathe. He spent his first two days of life in the special care nursery at SSM-St. Clare with a CPap and was being fed only sugar water. It was really difficult to watch our little boy struggle to breathe.
